The sport of choice for now

Jacob is nearing the end of his tennis clinic and has a new sport to love. Santa brought the boys tennis rackets for Christmas and Jacob had actually been saving his money to buy one. So now he is getting to put it to use. I'm glad he was able to do this clinic to get some basics down. I hope one day the boys will want to play tennis with me. Some wise moms of boys once told me
there are 2 ways to your boys hearts...good food and sports. So we'll see!
I have taken lessons a few times and never seem to be able to finish up because of the kids. So I'm starting again this week. Once I finish this round of lessons, hopefully, I will be able to participate in the league play in the fall. Jacob was so excited for me to get to play. Zachary is jealous. He said it isn't fair that everyone gets to play but him.
Don't you just love Jacob's rooster tail on his hair? Poor guy has been growing out his buzz cut since February! We are almost there. Now it is in that state where you just can't do anything with it but let it be!
The boys are counting down the days, literally, until Paw-Paw and Cee-Cee (my dad and Francine) come. They are arriving Friday! Jacob wakes up each morning telling me how many days we have left now. Both boys love to hear Paw-Paw tell them stories. He has the greatest animal adventure stories from his hunting trips and the boys are captivated by them!
HAPPY MONDAY!!!!!
